Studio MICAT is a London-based design practice founded in 2016 by architects and designers Michael Garnett and Cathrin Walczyk.
We investigate questions of our time through the lens of design and storytelling. We use our creative design and engineering skills to break down, visualise and materialise complex processes, connections and thought models. In creating opportunities for people to engage with a given subject we aim to develop critical positions and challenge how we all think and feel about the world we live in.
We are interested in collaborative making processes and believe that creating makes us human, and that making is a powerful way of connecting with others.
